NEPCO is committed to be a community involved entity and will play a vital role with in social development projects any where it operates in Somalia. For example NEPCO freely supplies power to some public places such as: Mosques, Hospitals, public schools, public street lights, etc.
NEPCO is currently involved in several social projects in the areas we are operating such as:
Health & hygiene
Education
Community conflicts resolutions
Drought relief
Public infrastructures
As mentioned above, NEPCO is a community based company; therefore 45% of the company shares
belong to the local traders.
